My mission is to relieve small businesses of the burden of administrative procedures such as accounting, reporting, and compliance. I can provide either on-site accounting (i.e., providing accounting services at the client’s office using the client’s computer system) or remote accounting services (i.e., taking the source documents to my office where they are processed). Reporting includes the preparation of financial statements and other reports required by the client. Compliance services includes the preparation of payroll and income tax returns as necessary. Compliance services may include documentation to demonstrate compliance with laws, regulations, covenants, and contracts.
I also provide training to employees and set up computer systems for small businesses. We can and have trained client’s employees in the use of applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. We also provide training in the application of QuickBooks (for which I am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor) and Peachtree accounting software. In addition, we set up small office computer systems utilizing peer-to-peer networking using Microsoft Windows XP, network cards, and wired or wireless routers and modems.
Additional services include audit, tax, and consulting services. I have provided auditing services for small companies with assets of $1,000,000 to large companies with assets of up to $200,000,000. This included heavily regulated companies such as government subsidized housing developments.
Consulting services included pay rate studies, job descriptions, policy formulation and implementation, internal control studies, development of accounting and reporting systems, cost allocation plans, and market analysis.
We also provide tax preparation and planning services for individuals as well as representation before the Internal Revenue Service.
